1. Where does General Nomad ship to?

General Nomad currently offers shipping exclusively within the United States. We do not offer international shipping or certain territories at this time. However, please sign up for our email list to find out when we will start shipping to your country of residence.

2. What is the estimated delivery time for orders?

Our goal is to get your items to you as swiftly as possible. Most of our products are typically delivered within 7 to 15 business days after processing. However, certain items may require a bit more time.

3. Do you offer returns?

Yes, we do! We want you to be completely satisfied with your General Nomad purchase. If, for any reason, you are not happy with your order, we offer an easy return policy. You can return your items within 14 calendar days of receiving them. 

4. Do you offer return shipping?

5. How can I be sure my payment information is secure?

At General Nomad, we prioritize the security of your payment information. We use industry-standard encryption provided by Shopify to ensure that your payment details are protected and kept confidential.

7. Can I track my order?

Yes, you can! Once your order has been processed and shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to monitor the status and progress of your delivery. Keep in mind, the tracking number is provided by the supplier and may not be available for select items.

8. Can I leave specific delivery instructions?

We cannot accept delivery instructions through General Nomad, however most last mile delivery is fulfilled by USPS and you will be provided a tracking number once the package is shipped. Please notify the carrier if you have specific delivery instructions.

9. My order hasn't arrived. What do I do?

Although we strive to make sure every order arrives by the estimated delivery date, some orders may need a little more time. Allow five business days beyond the end of the estimated delivery window before initiating a complaint through the "contact us" page. At that time, we'll contact the supplier and begin the investigation process. 

10. My tracking status says the order has been delivered but I can't locate it. What do I do if my package is stolen?

We understand it can be frustrating when a tracking status shows your order as delivered, but you can't locate it. While General Nomad is not responsible for packages stolen after successful delivery, we're here to help in any way we can.

Here are some suggested steps you can take:

Double-check the delivery location:

  • Verify the shipping address you provided during checkout.
  • Ask around your household or neighbors if they might have received the package by mistake.
  • Check for any delivery notes left by the carrier indicating where they might have left the package (e.g., behind the gate, with a concierge).

Contact the carrier:

  • Use the tracking number provided to contact the delivery company directly. They may have additional information about the delivery location or attempted delivery attempts.
  • Report the package as missing to the carrier and inquire about their lost package procedures.

Contact General Nomad:

  • While we cannot replace stolen packages, we may be able to offer alternative solutions based on the specific circumstances.
